The second biggest issue raised in the 2020 GSF survey is the seemingly ever-present skills shortage dogging the geotechnical sector. Almost half (49%) of respondents highlighted it as their key concern.

In the 2020 GSF, just over half of respondents said they monitor the age and gender of their employees, followed by nationality, disability and ethnicity, at 45%, 38% and 30%, respectively.
