At the 2022 GE Smart Geotechnics conference, ETS geotechnics, geology and hydraulics department manager Federico Foria presented an international case study on technologies used on the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and other strategic infrastructure.
At the conference in October 2022, ETS's Federico Foria delved into the technologies and processes applied to 2,000km of surveyed infrastructure and 250km of analysed assets.
He discussed the following topics:
- New technologies, methodologies and monitoring systems that allow digital transformation of the civil works management process
- The path of the first co-created climate change module to predict and mitigate current climate change challenges/impacts on infrastructure
- The principles and evolution of the MIRET (Management and Identification of the Risk) approach.
