Following the successful launch of the BGA MSc prize in 2011, the BGA will again be offering a prize of £500 for the best masters degree dissertation on a geotechnical topic.

The British Geotechnical Association has agreed to form the secretariat for an international series of symposia focused on instrumentation and monitoring.
