US debut for Trelleborg tunnel seals

The immersed tube tunnel consists of 11 rectangular concrete tunnel elements joined by Trelleborg seals.

Trelleborg has announced that its performance seals are to be used by the US tunnelling market for the first time after being specified for the second Midtown Tunnel on the Elizabeth River Tunnels project between Portsmouth and Norfolk, Virginia.
