Entries are now open for next year's GE Awards, which incorporates the brand-new GE Workforce Awards.
The GE Awards will be back in 2024 to celebrate the achievements of projects, people and businesses in the ground engineering sector.
The entries are now officially open, with 22 different categories to choose from. They cover innovative projects and solutions, as well as forward-thinking geotechnical companies and individuals. In addition, all finalists will be in the running for the Editor's Award.
The GE Awards includes the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was introduced last year. The award aims to recognise an inspirational leader and influential engineer who has made a significant strategic contribution to the field of geotechnics.
As a new addition, this year we have grouped five categories under the umbrella of GE Workforce Awards. These include the Rising Star and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion, as well as three brand-new categories that recognise great employers. Companies can now win an award for Excellence in Learning and Development, Excellence in Outreach and the Graduate Programme of the Year.

This time the awards will recognise the hard work of the geotechnical industry between January 2023 and January 2024.
The entries will be assessed by more than 70 industry experts to help create a shortlist for each category. The shortlist will be revealed in March of next year.
The finalists will then be invited to give a presentation in front of the panel of judges allocated to their category. The live judging stage will take place between 25 April and 2 May at emap's central London office.
Submit your entries for free by 19 January to be in the running for one - or multiple - GE Awards.
The 2024 GE Awards will take place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on 19 June.
