Ground Engineering has announced the finalists for the 2024 GE Awards, following the first round of judging.
Ground Engineering (GE) is pleased to be able to reveal the names of the companies, projects, initiatives, teams and individuals that have been shortlisted for the 2024 GE Awards - and the new GE Workforce Awards.
The GE Awards received more than 320 submissions this year, once again breaking records.
“Congratulations to all the 2024 GE Awards and Workforce Awards finalists," GE editor Nia Kajastie said.
"It's already a great achievement to have made it onto the shortlist!
“And thank you to all our judges, who meticulously marked a total of 324 entries."
The second round of judging, with face-to-face presentations, will take place from 24 April to 2 May at emap’s Fleet Street office in London.
Kajastie will also consider shortlisted submissions to 21 of the award categories for the Editor's Award.
There is no shortlist for the Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be judged by the editorial team, with input from key industry figures. The winner will be informed in advance of the award ceremony and will be invited to give an acceptance speech at the event.
"For everyone else, you'll have to wait for the big night to find out who takes home the gong," Kajastie added.
The 2024 GE Awards ceremony will be held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday 19 June 2024.
The full list of finalists and summaries of their entries are available here.
