GE magazine has officially opened nominations for its 2025 Top 20 Women in Ground Engineering initiative.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, which saw nearly 100 nominations, the initiative is back for 2025 to once again celebrate and highlight the top women making an impact in the ground engineering sector.
In recognition of International Women’s Day, the March 2025 edition of GE will spotlight 20 influential women, as nominated by their peers or themselves.
This initiative is open to all individuals who identify as women, regardless of age, seniority or specific job titles within geotechnics. The featured women will be recognised for their leadership, innovation and contributions toward building a more inclusive and sustainable industry.
The nomination period has now started and will run until 6 December 2024. Submissions can be made through this form.
The final list will be chosen by GE’s editorial team.
Additionally, GE is inviting contributions from female professionals in ground engineering for the March issue and beyond. Contributions may include interviews, opinion pieces, technical notes, case studies or industry analysis articles. GE is particularly interested in showcasing women who have led innovative projects or have unique perspectives to share, with a special emphasis on amplifying underrepresented voices.
If you would like to contribute to the issue or the magazine overall, please get in touch with GE editor Nia Kajastie at: [email protected]
